The 1884 French Vest style bodice and 1885 bustle skirt are made of 100% silk.  The embroidered silk bodice

features self-piping, covered buttons, and hand-made button-holes.  The mandarin collar and three-quarter

length sleeves are finished in ivory coloured lace.  The bodice is fully lined; inner lined and boned,

and measures 40 inches in the bust and 32 inches in the waist. 

The four gored 1885 bustle skirt is made of silk dupioni with an attached drape of embroidered silk. 

Shown over a full bustle (not included), the fully lined and inner lined skirt measures 31 inches in the waist

and 40 inches in front length.
