The bodice and skirt are fully lined in tan polished cotton and inner lined for warmth and stability.
The seams are piped in black silk and the buttons are covered in black silk. The buttonholes are handmade.
Trim on the bodice and skirt is of heavy grade black velvet that is sheered and then directionally pressed to
give it a “seal-skin” sheen. The same process was applied to the back bows and sleeve trims.
The bodice measures 40 inches at the bust and 33 inches at the waist.
The skirt measures 31 inches at the waistband and 40 inches from floor to front waist.
